Sad News from New Delhi Railway Station 😔
Hey friends, we have some unfortunate news to share with you. On Saturday, there was a big crowd at the New Delhi Railway Station in India. Many people were excited to travel to a famous festival called the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.
Because so many passengers were trying to board the trains all at once, a stampede happened. This means people started rushing and accidentally pushing each other. Sadly, 18 people lost their lives, including 11 women and 5 children. More than a dozen others were injured.
The Ministry of Railways is looking into what happened to make sure it doesn’t happen again. India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, expressed his sadness over the incident. He said, “I pray that the injured have a speedy recovery. The authorities are assisting all those affected by this tragedy.”
This reminds us how important it is to stay safe in big crowds. Always remember to move carefully and listen to safety instructions when you’re in busy places.
