UN: Aid trucks enter Gaza amid fragile ceasefire

UN Aid Trucks Bring Hope to Gaza During Ceasefire 🚚✌️

Hey friends! Did you hear the news? During a fragile ceasefire, hundreds of aid trucks are bringing much-needed help to the people of Gaza! πŸŽ‰

The United Nations (that’s the big group where countries work together 🌍) reported that on Monday, 915 trucks full of supplies entered the Gaza Strip. That’s a LOT of trucks! πŸš›πŸš›πŸš›

This happened on the second day of a ceasefire (which means both sides agreed to stop fighting for a while) between Israel and a group called Hamas.

On Sunday, about 630 trucks went into Gaza, and at least 300 of them went to the northern part, where people really need help.

The agreement says that 600 trucks full of aid should go into Gaza every day for six weeks during the truce (that’s another word for ceasefire). This includes 50 trucks carrying fuel to keep things running. πŸ›’οΈ

The UN is working hard to get supplies like food, water, and medicine to the people who need them. But there have been some problems with gangs and looters making it difficult. 😟

The leader of the UN, Antonio Guterres, said that the situation in Gaza is really tough and called it “catastrophic.” He asked everyone to help make sure that the aid can get to people safely and quickly.

“We need to make sure all the visas and permits are ready so we can bring in the help that’s desperately needed,” he said.

He also asked countries to help people who are sick and need medical care, and to allow more supplies into Gaza.

It’s important that everyone works together to help the people who have been affected by the conflict. Let’s hope that peace will come soon! βœ¨πŸ•ŠοΈ
