🛳️ Fishing Boat Accident in South Korea: 19 Rescued After Boat Hits Rocks

Hey everyone! Did you hear about what happened in South Korea?

On Saturday morning, a fishing boat carrying 22 people was sailing near a place called Gageo Island, which is in the southwest part of South Korea. Suddenly, the boat crashed into some rocks! 😱

Because of the crash, the boat capsized, which means it turned over in the water. That’s really dangerous because people can get trapped or fall into the sea.

The Coast Guard (they’re like sea police who help people on the water) got a call around 10:30 a.m. They quickly rushed to help! A nearby boat also came to rescue.

Thanks to their speedy actions, 19 people were saved! 🚤🚓 That’s great news! Unfortunately, 3 people didn’t make it. 😔

The people who were rescued didn’t have serious injuries, which is a relief.

This reminds us how important it is to be careful on the water and to always wear life jackets when on a boat.
