Hey friends! 🤗 Have you heard about what’s happening in Gaza? The United Nations (UN) is really worried. They say that attacks are making it hard for people to get help when they need it most.
The World Health Organization (WHO), which is part of the UN, told us that some hospitals are being damaged or even closed! 😢 One hospital called Kamal Adwan had to close after its director, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, was taken away, and no one knows where he is now.
Because of this, sick people can’t get the care they need. Some were moved to another hospital, but even that hospital doesn’t have water, electricity, or proper bathrooms! 🚰💡🚫
On top of that, there have been attacks on other hospitals too, like Al-Ahli and Al-Wafa Hospitals. Hospitals should be safe places, right? 🏥
Groups like WHO, the World Food Program (WFP), and the Palestine Red Crescent Society are trying hard to help. They brought medical supplies, food, and water. But it’s really hard because sometimes they’re not allowed through or they face lots of problems getting there.
The UN says that it’s very important for people to get the help they need. They want the fighting to stop hurting hospitals and people. Everyone deserves to be safe and have access to care! ❤️
