Hello friends, we have some sad news from Norway. 😢
Recently, a bus accident happened in the northern part of Norway, in a place called the Lofoten Islands. A bus veered off the highway and partially fell into a lake. Sadly, three people lost their lives, and four others were seriously injured.
The police chief, Mr. Bent Are Eilertsen, said, “The bus is partially underwater. So far, three fatalities have been confirmed, and four people are seriously injured. Emergency services have evacuated everyone from the bus.”
The accident occurred near Raftsundet, a well-known area in the Lofoten Islands famous for its stunning landscapes. The Lofoten Islands are a popular tourist destination because of their beautiful mountains and fjords.
Rescue teams faced challenging conditions due to bad weather, which made it hard for helicopters to help. Despite the difficulties, emergency workers did their best to help everyone involved.
This is a reminder of the importance of safety when traveling. Our thoughts are with those affected by this tragic accident.
