Guess what happened in Russia? There was a big storm, and two huge ships called tankers got into trouble in the Black Sea! 🌊 One of them split in half, and the other got stuck on the shore.
When the tankers broke, a lot of oil leaked into the sea. This is called an oil spill. Oil spills are bad because the oil floats on the water and can hurt animals that live there.
The oil has made a mess of the sandy beaches around a place called Anapa. Anapa is a popular spot where people go for vacations, kind of like going to the beach during summer break! 🏖️
But now, many sea creatures like seabirds, dolphins, and porpoises are in danger. The oil can stick to their feathers and skin, making it hard for them to swim or fly. 😢
The good news is that over 10,000 people are helping to clean up the mess! They’re working hard to save the animals and make the beaches clean again. Isn’t it great when people come together to help nature? 🌍🤝
