Chinese Astronauts Break Spacewalk Record! 🚀
Hey there, future space explorers! Have you ever dreamed of floating among the stars? Well, three Chinese astronauts, called taikonauts (that’s what China calls their astronauts), just did something amazing! 🌟
On Tuesday, the crew of the Shenzhou-19 spacecraft spent a whopping nine hours walking in space, which is the longest spacewalk ever done by Chinese astronauts! 🕘 That’s longer than a full school day!
What made this spacewalk extra special is that one of the taikonauts, Song Lingdong, is the first Chinese astronaut born in the 1990s to do a spacewalk. Imagine that—someone who could be your older brother or sister walking in space! 🛰️
During their spacewalk, the astronauts worked together to perform important tasks outside China’s space station. They had to wear special space suits to protect them from the cold and lack of air in space. These suits are like high-tech superhero costumes! 🦸♂️
The team leader, Cai Xuzhe, thanked everyone for their hard work and teamwork. After finishing, they were super happy and grateful to all the people on Earth who helped make it happen. 😊
This mission shows how teamwork and courage can help us do incredible things—even in outer space! Who knows? Maybe one day, you’ll be the one breaking records among the stars! 🌠
