In 2019, Malaysia started sending frozen durians to China. They were a big hit! Now, since 2022, Malaysia is also sending fresh durians to China, and Chinese consumers can’t get enough of them. 😋
The most popular type is called Musang King. It has creamy, thick flesh and a rich, bittersweet taste. Imagine a fruit that’s soft like butter and tastes both sweet and a little bitter at the same time. Sounds interesting, right?
