Mainland university delegation visits cultural sites in Taiwan region

Mainland Students Explore Taiwan’s Cultural Treasures ๐ŸŒ

Guess what? ๐Ÿคฉ A group of students and teachers from seven universities in mainland China are on an exciting trip to Taiwan! They’re exploring amazing historical and cultural sites. Let’s dive into their adventure!

Visiting the Lin An Tai Historical House ๐Ÿฏ

On Thursday afternoon, the delegation visited the Lin An Tai Historical House and Museum. This place is like stepping back in time! It’s a beautiful courtyard built over 200 years ago in the southern-Fujian style. ๐ŸŒธ

Today, it’s a hub for traditional folk culture. They have fun activities like first-birthday grab ceremonies (where babies choose objects that predict their future!) and classes in arts and crafts. How cool is that?

One student, Peng Yihang from Tsinghua University, said, “We witnessed key moments from traditional Chinese rituals. This place is so important for teaching and preserving our heritage!” ๐ŸŽŽ

Exploring the Taipei Confucius Temple ๐Ÿ“š

The group also visited the Taipei Confucius Temple. Confucius was a famous teacher and philosopher from ancient China. At the temple, they learned about rituals and musical instruments used to honor him. ๐ŸŽผ

Making New Friends ๐Ÿค

They didn’t just visit places; they also went to a local university and were warmly welcomed! It’s always exciting to meet new friends and learn together. ๐ŸŒŸ

Who’s on the Trip? ๐ŸŽ’

The delegation includes students and teachers from universities like Tsinghua University, Peking University, and others. They were invited by the Ma Ying-jeou Culture and Education Foundation in Taiwan.

This trip is a fantastic way for young people to connect and share their cultures. Maybe one day, you’ll go on an adventure like this too! โœˆ๏ธ
