Visiting the Lin An Tai Historical House 🏯
On Thursday afternoon, the delegation visited the Lin An Tai Historical House and Museum. This place is like stepping back in time! It’s a beautiful courtyard built over 200 years ago in the southern-Fujian style. 🌸
Today, it’s a hub for traditional folk culture. They have fun activities like first-birthday grab ceremonies (where babies choose objects that predict their future!) and classes in arts and crafts. How cool is that?
One student, Peng Yihang from Tsinghua University, said, “We witnessed key moments from traditional Chinese rituals. This place is so important for teaching and preserving our heritage!” 🎎
Exploring the Taipei Confucius Temple 📚
The group also visited the Taipei Confucius Temple. Confucius was a famous teacher and philosopher from ancient China. At the temple, they learned about rituals and musical instruments used to honor him. 🎼
