Youth Leaders Gather to Save the Planet in St. Kitts and Nevis! 🌎
Hey there! Have you ever thought about how we can protect our planet from climate change? 🌍 Right now, in the beautiful Caribbean islands of St. Kitts and Nevis, young leaders from all around the world are coming together to find answers!
They are attending the Global Sustainable Island Summit. It’s a big meeting where people talk about important topics like renewable energy (that’s energy from the sun 🌞, wind 💨, and other sources that won’t run out!) and ways to make our Earth a better place to live.
One of the coolest things they’re discussing is geothermal energy. That’s when we use the heat from deep inside the Earth to make power! 🔥🌋 St. Kitts and Nevis wants to use geothermal energy so they don’t have to use as much fossil fuel, like oil and coal, which can pollute the environment.
