Guess what? 🤖 The world’s first-ever humanoid robot fighting competition just took place in Hangzhou City, eastern China! And the champion is… “AI Strategist”! 🏆🎉
Organized by China Media Group (CMG), the event was called the World Robot Contest: Mech Combat Arena Competition. It was a super exciting day filled with robot battles and amazing tech! 🚀
How did it work?
Each robot match had three rounds, lasting two minutes each. Robots scored points by hitting each other:
- 🤜 1 point for arm strikes
- 🦵 3 points for leg strikes
- Any hit to the head or body counted!
If a robot got knocked down, they’d lose 5 points. And if they couldn’t get back up in 8 seconds, they’d lose 10 points and be disqualified! 😮
Epic Battles!
In the first match, “AI Strategist” (operated by Lu Xin) faced off against “Silk Artisan” (operated by Jiao Tianqi). “Silk Artisan” started strong with speedy kicks, but in the final round, “AI Strategist” made a powerful knee strike and won the match! ⚡
The second match was between “Armored Mulan” (operated by Chen Liangyu) and “Energy Guardian” (operated by Hu Yunqian). “Energy Guardian” knocked down “Armored Mulan” early on and kept up the pressure to win the match! 🛡️
The Grand Finale
In the final showdown, “AI Strategist” battled “Energy Guardian”. It was intense! But with knockouts in all three rounds, “AI Strategist” became the ultimate champion! 🥇🤖
More Than Just Fights
The event was live-streamed around the world 🌐, with experts explaining how these robots move and make decisions in real-time. It’s not just about fighting; it’s about learning how robots work!
What’s Next?
This competition is part of a series that will also include robot football (soccer) and basketball games! ⚽🏀 The goal is to show off cool robot technology and bring together science, culture, and fun. Who knows, maybe someday you’ll build a robot champion too! 🤩
