Professor Wang Xiaoyun, from Tsinghua University, has been recognized by UNESCO for her incredible work in cryptography! 🕵️♀️ But what is cryptography?
Cryptography is like creating secret codes to keep information safe. 🔐 Imagine you have a secret message that you don’t want others to read. Cryptography helps turn that message into a code that only the person with the key can understand!
Professor Wang discovered some problems with the old secret codes called hash functions that many people used. She helped create new and better codes to keep our information secure! Isn’t that awesome? 🎉
