Meet the Robotic Tuna and Dolphin
These robots look and swim just like a tuna and a dolphin! They glide through the water with a shiny, metallic body. “We made these robotic fish to help with fish farming,” says Professor Liu from China Agricultural University. “They swim like real fish, so they don’t scare the other fish.”
Helping Fish Farmers
Fish farming can be hard work. Farmers used to spend days checking big fish cages underwater. Divers had to swim around to make sure everything was okay. But now, the robotic fish can do this job much faster! They can check a huge fish cage in just four hours.
Keeping Fish Happy
Fish can get scared easily. If something strange comes near them, they might jump out of the water! So, the scientists made the robots look and move like real fish. This way, the real fish aren’t afraid. In fact, sometimes the real fish even follow the robotic fish around!
Smart Robots with AI
The robotic fish have special sensors and tiny computers that help them think and move on their own. They can check the water quality and see how the fish are doing.
