🚀 Exciting News from Space! 🚀
NASA and SpaceX just launched a brand-new crew to the International Space Station (ISS)! These four astronauts are on their way to replace two astronauts who’ve been on the ISS for nine months.
Back in June, astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams traveled to the ISS using a spaceship called the Starliner, made by Boeing. But there was a problem with the Starliner’s engines, so NASA decided it wasn’t safe for them to come back to Earth in it. The Starliner had to return empty in September.
Now, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket blasted off from Florida, carrying the new crew. Once they arrive, Wilmore and Williams can finally come home! They’re expected to leave the space station on March 19.
This mission is super important because it keeps the ISS running smoothly and helps continue exciting space exploration. Who knows—maybe one day you’ll be the one exploring space! 🌟
