China to launch Long March-8 rocket from its 1st commercial spaceport

China’s Long March-8 Rocket Set to Launch from New Spaceport 🚀

Guess what? China is about to launch a brand-new rocket called the Long March-8! 🚀

This rocket has been moved to the launch pad at China’s first commercial spaceport in Wenchang City, which is on a beautiful island province called Hainan. 🌴

The Long March-8 is super cool because it uses green and environmentally friendly fuel, which is better for our planet Earth. 🌍

The rocket was built by smart engineers at the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology. They’ve been working hard to make sure everything goes smoothly. In early November, they did a full rehearsal to practice for the big day. 🛠️

Now, the rocket is ready and waiting on the No. 1 launch pad. Construction of this launch pad began in July 2022 and was recently completed. This launch of the Long March-8 will be the very first from this new launch pad! 🎉

Did you know that China’s space industry is growing really fast? In 2019, it was worth about $110 billion, and by 2023, it grew to about $260 billion! That’s a lot of money! 💰

Everyone is excited to see the Long March-8 soar into space soon. Keep an eye out for more news on this awesome launch! 👀
