Han Yue’s Thrilling Match πΈ
Chinese badminton star Han Yue had a tough but exciting match against Japan’s Natsuki Nidaira in the women’s singles opening round. They’ve played three times before, and Han won all of them. Could she do it again?
In the first game, Han was on fire! π₯ She dominated the court and won 21-9. But Natsuki didn’t give up. In the second game, Han made some mistakes, and Natsuki took advantage, winning 21-12. That tied the match and made things super tense!
The final game was a nail-biter! π¬ Han kept a small lead, and even though Natsuki tried to catch up, Han stayed strong. She won the last game 21-17, moving on to the next round! π
Mixed Doubles Comeback πͺ
In the mixed doubles, China’s Guo Xinwa and Chen Fanghui faced Denmark’s Jesper Toft and Emily Magelund, who are the European mixed doubles champions!
The Danish pair won the first game 21-17. But Guo and Chen didn’t lose hope. They fought hard in the second game, winning a close one 21-19. With the momentum on their side, they dominated the final game 21-14! π Now they’re heading to the last 16!
