Hey basketball fans! 🏀 Guess what? China’s women’s basketball team had an amazing game against Indonesia in the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup opener. They won with a whopping score of 110-59! 🎉
All 12 players from China scored points in the game. Isn’t that cool? 😎 At first, the game was a bit tricky, but soon they found their rhythm. The team worked together, passing the ball smoothly. Center Han Xu used her height and skills to score some awesome points. 🌟
Indonesia tried hard, but they struggled to keep up. After their player Kim Pierre-Louis scored the first basket, they had a tough time scoring again. China took the lead and didn’t look back!

With six and a half minutes left in the first quarter, China’s Zhang Ziyu stepped onto the court. She’s just 18 years old and stands an incredible 226 cm tall! 😲 She made a big impact both in scoring and defending.
By halftime, China was leading 49-20. After the break, they kept up the great work. The team made special plays to get the ball to Zhang Ziyu near the basket, and she was almost unstoppable! 🏀🔥
Another player, Yang Shuyu, was super impressive in the third quarter. She kept attacking the rim and added energy to the team. By the end of the third quarter, China was ahead by 47 points!
Team Effort Leads to Victory! 🏆
Seven players from China scored in double figures. That’s a lot! Yang Liwei, Luo Xinyu, and Zhang Ziyu each scored 13 points. Han Xu added 12 points and six rebounds, all in just 17 minutes!
Coach Gong Luming was happy with the team’s performance. He said they are using these games to try different lineups and help new players get used to international play. “We’re focusing on ourselves first,” he said.

China’s team had been practicing hard since April, playing warm-up games against top teams like Australia and Japan. Even though some star players couldn’t join due to injuries or other commitments, the team showed they are strong and ready to compete! 💪
