China’s U16 Football Team Triumphs Over Uzbekistan 2-1! ⚽

Hey soccer fans! ⚽ Guess what? China’s under-16 boys’ football team just had an awesome win! They beat Uzbekistan 2-1 in the CFA Team China Shenyang Peace Cup International Tournament 2025 held in Shenyang on Sunday. 🎉

The game started off with a bang! Just two minutes in, He Sifan crossed the ball from the left side, and Kuang Zhaolei tapped it into the net. Goal! 🙌 China was leading 1-0.

China almost scored again when Wang Feiniya got a penalty kick. He tried a cool move called a “Panenka,” where you chip the ball softly into the goal. But the Uzbek goalkeeper was quick and saved it. So close!

Right before halftime, Uzbekistan tied the game with a header. Both teams went into the break with the score at 1-1.

In the second half, both teams played hard, but no goals were scored until the very end. In the 88th minute, China had a corner kick. After a scramble, the ball came out to Zhou Yunuo, who shot from far away and scored the winning goal! 🥳

With this win and their previous 1-1 draw with Japan, China is now second in the tournament standings. Earlier that day, South Korea beat Japan 2-1, staying at the top of the table. Next up, China will face South Korea on Tuesday in the championship match. Let’s cheer them on! 🇨🇳 vs 🇰🇷
