China Battles Bravely but Loses to Slovenia at U19 Basketball World Cup ๐Ÿ€

Hey basketball fans! Are you following the FIBA Under-19 Basketball World Cup in Lausanne, Switzerland? ๐Ÿ€๐ŸŒ Well, here’s the latest update: China’s team fought hard but lost to Slovenia with a score of 99-82 on Tuesday.

It was China’s third game in Group B, and even though they haven’t won a game yet, guess what? They still made it to the Round of 16! ๐ŸŽ‰ They’ll be playing against New Zealand next, so keep your fingers crossed for them! ๐Ÿคž

The game started off strong for China. Players Zhu Zheng, Huan Sinan, and Zhang Boyuan helped the team jump to an 11-5 lead with a cool 6-0 run! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ Then, Zhang and Chen Jiazheng scored more points, pushing the lead to 17-8. Go team! ๐Ÿ™Œ

But Slovenia wasn’t backing down. They went on a 10-0 run, taking control of the game. Leon Ivicic was on fire, making five out of eight three-point shots! ๐Ÿ”ฅ Urban Kroflic was perfect from beyond the arc, hitting all four of his three-pointers. Together, they scored a whopping 36 points for Slovenia.

In the second and third quarters, Slovenia kept up the pressure with big runs, making the score 71-43 at one point. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

But China didn’t give up! ๐Ÿ’ช Zhang, Huan, and Ao Feng worked really hard to close the gap. In the end, Ao and Huan both scored 12 points each, helping to reduce Slovenia’s lead to 17 points.
