Hey everyone! Have you heard the awesome news from Shanghai? Two amazing Chinese breakdancers, Guo Pu and Li Houhua, just danced their way to victory at the Asian Breaking Championship Youth!
B-Girl Royal Takes the Crown ๐
16-year-old Guo Pu, also known as B-Girl Royal, wowed the judges with her incredible moves and musicality. She faced off against Japan’s Hiyo Yamada (B-Girl Hiyo) in the final and won with a perfect score of 3-0! Talk about girl power! ๐ช
“My musicality made the difference,” Guo said with a smile. She danced to the beat like a true queen!
B-Boy Jason Breaks Through ๐บ
On the boys’ side, 15-year-old Li Houhua, or B-Boy Jason, spun his way to the top! He defeated Japan’s Shunta Nakamura (B-Boy Lil Kong) in an exciting final, also with a 3-0 score. His air flares and complex freezes were out of this world! ๐
“I’m thrilled with this result,” Li exclaimed. “My opponents were outstanding and deserve high respect.”
The Competition ๐
The event was HUGE, with 169 young breakersโ122 boys and 47 girlsโfrom all over Asia showing off their best moves at the Luwan Gymnasium. The energy was electric! โก
And guess what? The excitement isn’t over yet! The adult finals are happening at the same place on Sunday. Who’s ready for more epic breakdancing? ๐
