Auger-Aliassime, Bautista Agut advance at Mallorca Championships

Felix and Roberto Advance at Mallorca Tennis Championships!

Hey there, tennis fans! 🎾

Exciting news from the Mallorca Championships! Two amazing players, Felix Auger-Aliassime from Canada and Roberto Bautista Agut from Spain, have won their matches and are moving forward in the tournament! 🙌

Felix’s Fantastic Win

Felix, who is just 22 years old, faced off against Arthur Rinderknech from France. In a thrilling match, Felix won the first set 7-5. He played some incredible shots, including a forehand (that’s hitting the ball with the front of your racket) that found the corner of the court! 😮

In the second set, Felix kept up his strong play. He used a clever drop shot (a soft hit that just goes over the net) to catch Arthur off guard. Felix won the second set 6-3, securing his place in the quarterfinals! 🎉 He will next play against Hamad Medjedovic from Serbia.

Roberto’s Remarkable Comeback

Roberto Bautista Agut, who is 37 years old, had a tough match against Tomas Martin Etcheverry from Argentina. Roberto lost the first set 7-5, but he didn’t give up! 💪

In the second set, Roberto fought back and won 6-3. He started the third set with a fantastic forehand that landed right in the corner, breaking his opponent’s serve (that’s when you win a game when the other player is serving). Roberto kept his momentum and won the third set 6-2! 🏆

He will face Bernard Tomic from Australia in his next match for a spot in the quarterfinals.
