Hey tennis fans! 🎾 Great news from London! China’s rising tennis star Zheng Qinwen has made it to the quarterfinals at the Queen’s Club tournament!

Zheng faced a tough match against McCartney Kessler from the United States. After more than two hours of intense play, she won with scores of 6-3, 4-6, 7-5! It was her first match on grass this season, and she had to stay focused and determined to win.

She shared, “I believe I should play even more aggressive on the grass court, but I need to be patient at the same time. I need to find the balance.”

Next up, Zheng will play against British player Emma Raducanu on Friday. Emma won the U.S. Open before, so it’s going to be an exciting match! Zheng is ready to give it her all and focus on every point.

Also, former Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina secured her spot in the quarterfinals by defeating Heather Watson from Britain.

In doubles, Zhang Shuai from China and her partner Ellen Perez from Australia won a thrilling match to reach the semifinals! They played two exciting tiebreaks and showed awesome teamwork. 🌟

Meanwhile, at the Libema Open in the Netherlands, China’s Yuan Yue reached her first grass-court quarterfinal by defeating Kimberly Birrell from Australia. Way to go, Yuan! 🙌
