Alcaraz faced Tommy Paul from the USA in the quarterfinals. Paul wasn’t feeling his best because of an injury. His right leg was wrapped up, and he couldn’t move as well as he usually does.
But Alcaraz was unstoppable! He played with so much confidence. Imagine hitting almost every shot perfectly! That’s how he played. 🤯
The match was quick. In just 52 minutes, Alcaraz won the first two sets with scores of 6-0 and 6-1. That’s super fast in tennis time! 🏃♂️💨
The third set was a bit tougher. Paul tried his best and even led for a little while. The crowd cheered, shouting his name. But Alcaraz didn’t let up. He won the set 6-4 and the match!
