Novak Djokovic Battles to Victory ๐ŸŽพ

Novak Djokovic, one of the world’s best tennis players from Serbia, won a tough match at the French Open! He beat Corentin Moutet from France with scores of 6-3, 6-2, and 7-6.

In the first two sets, Djokovic played really well. But in the third set, he had a problem: a blister on his hand was hurting him! Ouch! ๐Ÿ˜– He had to take a medical timeout to fix it.

Even with the blister, Djokovic stayed strong. He saved a set point (that’s when his opponent could have won the set) and won the tiebreaker. He said after the match, “It was a good match and a good fight, especially in the third set. The blister made things tricky, but I finished strong!”

Djokovic is now moving on to the third round, and he’s hoping to win his 25th Grand Slam title! That’s a really big deal in tennis. Next, he’ll play against Filip Misolic from Austria.

Sinner has now won 16 Grand Slam matches in a row! He’s trying to win his third big tournament in a row and become the first Italian man to win the French Open since 1976. Wow! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

Richard Gasquet, who is 38 years old and has been a top player in France, said this would be his last tournament. The crowd cheered for him, and he got a big standing ovation. Sinner showed respect by saying, “Congrats for everything you’ve done โ€“ an amazing career, but mostly an amazing person you are.”

Next, Sinner will play against Jiri Lehecka from the Czech Republic.
