China’s Liang Xiaojing Sprints to Gold in the 100m at Asian Championships 🏃♀️🥇

Liang Xiaojing from China just won the women’s 100-meter race at the Asian Athletics Championships! 🥳 The championships are happening in Gumi, South Korea.
She dashed across the finish line in just 11.37 seconds! That’s super fast! 🚀
Liang led the race from start to finish, showing amazing speed and determination. She is the first Chinese sprinter to win this event at the Asian Championships since Wei Yongli did it back in 2013. That’s a whole 10 years ago!
But that’s not all! Chinese athletes had an awesome day, winning a total of six gold medals. Here’s who else struck gold:
- Zhu Yaming won the men’s triple jump, leaping an incredible 17.06 meters! 🏆
- Wang Qi took the top spot in the men’s hammer throw with a throw of 74.50 meters. Amazing! 🎯
