Chen Yiwen, a 25-year-old diving star, soared to victory in the women’s 3-meter springboard event! She faced a tough challenge from her 20-year-old rival, Chen Jia.
The competition was super close from the start. In their first dive, both divers scored an amazing 76.50 points! Talk about a tie! 😲
In the second round, Chen Jia took a tiny lead by choosing a harder dive, getting ahead by just 2.55 points. But in the third dive, the two were neck and neck again, each scoring 76.05 points.
But here’s where things got really exciting! On the fourth dive, Chen Jia had a bit of a slip and scored 72 points, while Chen Yiwen shined bright with a fantastic score of 83.70 points! 🌟
