Thousands of happy supporters filled the streets of Eindhoven to cheer for their team. It was an incredible season finale full of twists and turns!
At first, it looked like Ajax was going to win. They were leading by nine points! But then, they didn’t win any of their next four matches. 😮
Last Sunday, PSV seemed to be in trouble. They were losing 2-0 after just 10 minutes against Feyenoord. But guess what? They didn’t give up! They scored to make it 2-2, and in the ninth minute of extra time, Noa Lang scored an amazing goal to win the game 3-2! 🎯
Meanwhile, Ajax lost 3-0 at home to NEC Nijmegen and then tied 2-2 with Groningen after giving up a goal in the last minutes.
With these results, PSV moved into first place by just one point, thanks to their coach Peter Bosz, who used to coach Ajax!
On the final day, Ajax won their game, but so did PSV! PSV beat Sparta 3-1, keeping them at the top and making them champions! 🥳
On Monday, the PSV players and staff celebrated by taking the trophy on a bus parade through the city. The fans were overjoyed, cheering and waving flags! 🚍🎉
