Chen Yufei Wins Women’s Singles Title πŸ₯‡

Chen Yufei from the Chinese mainland clinched the gold medal in the women’s singles! She defeated Thailand’s own Pornpawee Chochuwong with scores of 21-16 and 21-12. It took just 48 minutes!

After the match, Chen said, “Each round had its own challenges. I’m working hard to get back to my top speed and strength.”

Victory in Mixed Doubles πŸŽ‰

In the mixed doubles, Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping from the Chinese mainland won against their teammates Gao Jiaxuan and Wu Mengying. The final scores were 24-22 and 21-16. It was a tough match, but Feng and Huang pulled through!

Huang praised their opponents, saying, “They gave us a tough challenge, just like we used to do when we were younger.”

Malaysian players also shined at the tournament! In the women’s doubles, Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan won against South Korea’s Jeong Na-eun and Lee Yeon-woo with scores of 21-16 and 21-17.

In the men’s doubles, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik from Malaysia won a thrilling match against Denmark’s William Kryger Boe and Christian Faust Kjaer. The scores were 20-22, 21-17, and 21-12!

Thailand’s own Kunlavut Vitidsarn thrilled the home crowd by winning the men’s singles title! He defeated Denmark’s Anders Antonsen with scores of 21-16, 17-21, and 21-9. What a fantastic match!
