Hey basketball fans! ๐ Guess what? The Beijing Ducks just flew into the semifinals of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) Playoffs! ๐
On Monday, the Ducks won 112-95 against the Beikong Royal Fighters in Game 4 of the Beijing derby. That means they took the series 3-1 and are now in the final four! ๐ฎ
The game started with the Ducks leading 20-9, thanks to amazing plays by Chen Ying-chun and Zhai Xiaochuan. The Royal Fighters tried hard to catch up, especially in the second quarter, but Eugene German nailed a super cool three-point buzzer-beater! ๐โฑ๏ธ So at halftime, the Ducks were ahead 53-47.
The Ducks were unstoppable, grabbing rebounds and keeping control. Zachary Nutall hit another awesome three-pointer at the end of the third quarter, making their lead even bigger! ๐ช The Royal Fighters couldn’t catch up after that.
Seven players from the Ducks scored over 10 points! Eugene German scored 25 points and had 6 assists. Even though Grant Riller of the Royal Fighters scored a game-high 27 points, it wasn’t enough for a win.
Now, the Beijing Ducks will face the Shanxi Loongs in the semifinals. Can’t wait to see what happens next! ๐ฒ๐ฅ
