Malaysian Badminton Players Talk About Their Chinese Friends Off the Court ๐Ÿธ

Did you know that some of the world’s best badminton players are great friends off the court? ๐Ÿธ Recently, top players from Malaysia shared their stories about making friends with Chinese players.

Lee Zii Jia, one of Malaysia’s badminton stars, said, “China is undoubtedly one of the top forces in badminton. If Malaysia can collaborate with them and learn from their training system, it would definitely benefit our players.”

Pearly Tan, who is ranked World No. 5 in women’s doubles, shared, “Every stadium we play in China has the best courts and infrastructure in the world. The arenas are big, the courts are top-notch, and they’re always filled with cheering fans! That’s why we love coming to compete in China so much.”

Soh Wooi Yik, an Olympic bronze medalist in men’s doubles, added, “When we are in China, our friends ask us what we would like to eat and they bring us local treats. They are very warm people, and we are all good friends.”
