On the final day of the competition, China added two more gold medals and two silvers to their collection. That means they took home a total of seven golds and three silvers! π π₯
In the women’s 10-meter synchronized platform event, Zhang Minjie and Lu Wei wowed the crowd with their amazing dives. They scored 347.58 points, soaring over the competition! πββοΈπ¦ The home team from Mexico, Alejandra Estudillo Torres and Gabriela Agundez Garcia, came in second, and the Russian pair Alexandra Kedrina and Anna Konanykhina took third place. π
The women’s 3-meter springboard final was a close race between two Chinese divers, Chen Jia and Chen Yiwen. It was like watching a thrilling movie! π¬ In the end, Chen Jia edged ahead with 380.55 points, just 7.65 points more than Chen Yiwen. Australia’s Maddison Keeney earned the bronze medal. π₯
But that’s not all! In the men’s 3-meter synchronized springboard, Mexico’s own Osmar Olvera Ibarra and Juan Manuel Celaya Hernandez took the gold with an impressive 430.23 points. The Chinese duo, Hu Yukang and Zheng Jiuyuan, grabbed the silver medal. Great job, everyone! π
In the men’s 10-meter platform, Oleksiy Sereda from Ukraine topped the podium with 295.30 points. Divers from Russia and Australia took the silver and bronze medals. π₯π₯
