The team, with players Guo Hanyu, Yan Peng, Zhang Dianliang, and Xiang Zhichao, fought really hard. 💪 They started strong by winning in Pool B and moved on to the knockout stage. In the quarterfinals, they beat Qatar 19-11! 🎉 Then, they faced Japan in the semifinals and won 19-15! Wow!
In the big final, they played against the defending champions, Australia. 🏆 It was a super exciting game! China tied the score twice and even led at one point. 😮 The game was neck and neck, but Australia just edged ahead to win 21-19. So close!
Even though they lost the final, China’s team did an amazing job. They achieved their best result ever at the Asia Cup! 🎖️ Plus, they qualified for the World Cup, which starts on June 23 in Mongolia. 🏀 How cool is that?
Not to forget, China’s women’s team also did great! They won the bronze medal after beating the Philippines 21-11. 🥉 Both the men’s and women’s teams are heading to the World Cup! Let’s cheer them on! 🎊
