What a match! 😃 Bayern Munich had a thrilling game against St. Pauli, winning 3-2 on Saturday!
Bayern Munich is one of the top football (soccer) teams in Germany 🇩🇪, and they’re aiming to win the Bundesliga, which is the German football league. But they faced a tough challenge from St. Pauli, a team fighting to avoid relegation (which means moving down to a lower league).
The game started with a scare for Bayern. St. Pauli almost scored first when Jackson Irvine’s header hit the bar! 😱 Just two minutes later, Bayern took the lead. Harry Kane, a super striker from England 🏴, scored his first goal ever against St. Pauli! This means he has now scored against every team he’s played against in the Bundesliga. Amazing, right?
But St. Pauli didn’t give up! Before halftime, Elias Saad scored to make it 1-1. The game was on! ⚽️
In the second half, Leroy Sane became the hero for Bayern. He scored two goals! The first one came after a clever play that left him with lots of space, and he smashed the ball into the net! The second goal was after a quick attack, and he tapped in a cross from Harry Kane. Go team! 🙌
Even though St. Pauli scored again in extra time, making it 3-2, Bayern held on for the win. It was a nail-biting finish! 😅
However, not all news was good for Bayern. Their defender Hiroki Ito had to leave the game due to an injury. We hope he gets well soon! 🤕
