The exciting qualifiers for the 15th National Games of China just wrapped up in Ningbo, a city in east China’s Zhejiang Province. Some of the best table tennis players battled it out for a chance to compete in the big event this November!
Sun Wen’s Amazing Win 🌟
Sun Wen from Jiangsu province showed awesome skills as he swept past Zhou Yu from Hebei in four straight games! His serves were on point, and he won with scores of 11-8, 11-3, 11-6, and 11-6. Way to go, Sun Wen! 👏
Beijing’s Stars Shine ✨
Huang Youzheng from Beijing defeated Zhao Zihao from Shanghai. Huang was in great form and won the first three games 11-9, 11-8, and 11-3. Even though Zhao clinched the fourth game 11-9, Huang sealed the deal in the fifth game 11-9. Also, Huang’s teammate Xu Chenhao had a tough match but finally won against Wei Shihao from Heilongjiang after seven exciting games! 😮
Girl Power on the Women’s Side 🏓💪
Shi Xunyao from Jiangsu province breezed through her match against Che Xiaoxi from Heilongjiang, winning in four straight games! Hebei’s He Zhuojia also had a great victory over Yang Shilu from Guangdong. These amazing players secured their spots at the National Games! 🎉
Mixed Doubles Teams Set! 🤝
All 24 mixed doubles pairs have been confirmed for the National Games! The last two spots went to teams from Hebei and Tianjin. Liang Yanning and He Zhuojia from Hebei played amazingly to secure their place, winning in straight games. Tianjin’s Hao Shuai and Liu Weishan also won their match without much trouble. Can’t wait to see them all compete! 🏆
