Alexander Zverev, a super talented player from Germany π©πͺ, was behind in his match against Jordan Thompson from Australia π¦πΊ. He was losing 4-1 in the first set! π± But he didn’t give up. He fought back and won the match 7-5, 6-4! How cool is that?
Zverev said, “Jordan made it difficult for me for sure. He’s a quality player. When you’re in rhythm, he knows how to break it a little bit. So he did extremely well today. I’m happy with my level from 1-4 onwards.”
Also, Taylor Fritz, a top player from the United States πΊπΈ, beat Denis Shapovalov from Canada π¨π¦ with a score of 7-5, 6-3. Fritz was leading 5-2 in the first set but lost some points. But he pulled through with strong serves! πͺ
