China Battles Hard but Falls to Saudi Arabia
Hey football fans! On Thursday, China took on Saudi Arabia in an important World Cup Qualifier match in Riyadh. It was a tough game, and China played with great determination! 🇨🇳⚽️
In the second half, just five minutes after the break, Saudi player Salem Al-Dawsari scored the only goal of the match. It was a rebound shot that got past China’s goalkeeper Wang Dalei, who tried his best to save it. 🥅🧤
China faced a big challenge when Lin Liangming received a red card just before halftime. He accidentally kicked a Saudi player in the face, which is dangerous in football. As a result, China had to play with only 10 players for the rest of the game. That’s really hard! 🚩
Even though they had fewer players, China didn’t give up and kept fighting. Saudi Arabia had many chances but couldn’t score more goals. One of their goals was canceled because of a handball, thanks to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR). 🎥⚖️
China is still working hard to get more points in the qualifiers. Their next game is against Australia in Hangzhou on Tuesday. Let’s cheer them on! 🙌
In other news, Japan won their game against Bahrain 2-0 and have qualified for the World Cup. Congratulations to them! 🇯🇵🎉
