China win men's team sprint at ISU World Speed Skating Championships

China Speeds to Victory at World Speed Skating Championships! 🏆⛸️

Hey there, sports fans! 🥳 Have you heard the exciting news from the ISU World Speed Skating Championships in Norway? China just sped to victory in the men’s team sprint! 🇨🇳⛸️

On Thursday, Chinese skaters Xue Zhiwen, Lian Ziwen, and Ning Zhongyan raced their hearts out in Hamar, Norway. They competed against South Korea in the third group. Ning Zhongyan, who won gold at the Asian Games, skated the last leg and helped his team finish with a winning time of 1 minute and 18.13 seconds! 🥇

The Netherlands came in second place with a time of 1:18.42, and the USA grabbed third place with 1:19.23. Way to go, everyone! 🌍

In the women’s team sprint, China finished fifth with a time of 1:30.41. The Netherlands’ women’s team took the gold, finishing in 1:25.57. Canada earned silver, finishing just 1.66 seconds behind, and Poland claimed bronze with 1:27.80. Great job to all the amazing athletes! 🏃‍♀️⛸️
