Wang Chuqin’s Victory 🥇
Wang Chuqin, ranked second in the world for men’s table tennis, played against his teammate Liang Jingkun in the final match. He won all four games, with scores of 11-7, 11-2, 16-14, and 11-5! That’s like winning four sets in a row!
“I didn’t disappoint you,” Wang Chuqin said to his cheering fans. “I saw myself as a challenger, so I fought hard for every point.”
Wang Manyu’s Success 🥇
On the women’s side, Wang Manyu, also ranked second in the world, faced off against Sun Yingsha, who is ranked number one! But Wang Manyu was unstoppable, winning four games straight with scores of 11-5, 11-9, 11-6, and 11-6.
“I stuck to my plan and wasn’t hesitant at all,” Wang Manyu shared after her big win.
Bronze Medals for Lin Shidong and Kuai Man 🥉
That’s not all! Earlier, Lin Shidong and Kuai Man, also from China, won bronze medals in the men’s and women’s events. Great job to all the players!
