Hey everyone! 🌟 Have you heard the exciting news from the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships in Seoul? South Korea’s own Kim Chae-yeon dazzled on the ice and is now leading the women’s short program! 🎉⛸️
Kim wowed the home crowd with her amazing performance, earning a fantastic score of 74.02 points. Isn’t that awesome?
Meanwhile, skaters from China were giving it their all! An Xiangyi, Zhu Yi, and Chen Hongyi showed great determination. An Xiangyi scored 57.63 points and is in 12th place. Zhu Yi and Chen Hongyi are in 15th and 16th place, with scores of 48.38 and 47.57 points. Even though Chen was competing with an injury, she still put on a great show! Talk about dedication! 💪
In the pairs event, Japan’s duo Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara took home the gold medal with an amazing total of 217.32 points. Go team Japan! 🥇
Canada’s skaters weren’t far behind. Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps grabbed the silver medal, while fellow Canadians Lia Pereira and Trennt Michaud clinched the bronze. Way to go, Canada! 🥈🥉
