🏌️♂️⛳️ Hey golf fans! Guess what? The legendary Tiger Woods and his team, Jupiter Links Golf Club, just had an amazing win! They beat Rory McIlroy’s team, Boston Common Golf Club, in an exciting overtime match in the new TMRW Golf League (TGL)! 🎉
The game was super close the whole time! But in overtime, Tiger’s teammates, Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner, made some clutch shots that led their team to victory! 🏆
What’s really cool is that Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy actually started the TGL together! They wanted to make golf even more fun and exciting, and this match showed exactly that! The matches are played in a special arena in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, using giant simulator screens and high-tech greens. How awesome is that? 🤩
“It couldn’t have been a more fun display of golf and friendly competition,” Tiger said. “Everyone was engaged, and this is what we dreamed of for TGL!”
This was Rory McIlroy’s first TGL match, playing with Keegan Bradley and Adam Scott. He was really impressed with Tiger’s performance, especially after Tiger’s team lost earlier this month. Rory said, “He stepped up and delivered like he usually does!”
The TGL is getting lots of attention! Their first match was watched by nearly a million people on ESPN! 📺 Rory hopes that this new league can get more kids and teens interested in golf. “It’s been really cool to hear that younger people are enjoying it,” he said. “We wanted to give them a bite-sized version of golf that’s easy to get into!”
The TGL season has 15 matches and runs until March 4, followed by playoffs later that month. So there’s lots more exciting golf to come! ⛳️🎉
