Captain Yu Baiwei Leads China’s Ice Hockey Team at Asian Winter Games! ๐Ÿ’

Hey there, sports fans! ๐Ÿ’ Have you heard the exciting news? Yu Baiwei, the captain of China’s women’s ice hockey team, is gearing up to lead her team at the upcoming Asian Winter Games! ๐ŸŒŸ

The games will take place in Harbin, a city in northeast China, from February 7 to February 14, 2025. What’s extra special is that Harbin is Yu Baiwei’s hometown! ๐Ÿ  She’s thrilled to play in front of her family, friends, and all the supportive fans.

“I feel it’s such an honor to play at home,” Yu shared. “There might be a bit of pressure with everyone watching, but it really motivates me to do my best!” ๐ŸŒ 

Yu and her teammates have been practicing in Harbin since they were youngsters. Now, returning to compete in the Asian Winter Games feels like a dream come true! “It’s like we’re giving a big ‘thank you’ to our hometown and everyone who’s cheered us on,” she said. ๐Ÿ™Œ

The team is aiming high! “We hope to show our skills, be in top shape, and maybe even achieve something we’ve never done before!” Yu exclaimed. ๐Ÿ†
