Guess what? 🎿 The Asian Winter Games are coming up, and the Chinese mainland is sending 170 awesome athletes to compete! Isn’t that cool? ❄️
The big event kicks off on February 7th in Harbin, and it’s the third time the Chinese mainland is hosting. This year, they’re going all out by participating in all 64 events!
There are 85 boys and 85 girls on the team, with ages ranging from 16 to 40. That’s right—some athletes are as young as you might be! 😊 The average age is 23, so there are lots of young people chasing their dreams.
For 147 of them, it’s their first time competing in the Asian Winter Games. Imagine how exciting that must be! 🏅 Plus, 48 athletes competed in the Beijing Winter Olympics, including superstars like Gu Ailing (also known as Eileen Gu) and Xu Mengtao. They’re among six Olympic champions on the team. Go team! 🎉
