Exciting news: China’s men’s football team is training in sunny Haikou, Hainan Province, to prepare for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers! 🌞
For the next 10 days, 32 talented players will work hard under the guidance of their coach, Branko Ivanković. He told the team that this training period is super important for their chances to reach the World Cup finals next year in the USA, Canada, and Mexico! 🎉
In their last matches, China, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and Bahrain all had six points in Group C. But Japan was leading the group, with Australia close behind. The top two teams will qualify directly for the World Cup, while the third and fourth places get another shot through extra rounds. So every game counts! ⚽🔥
China did great by winning against Indonesia in October and Bahrain in November, keeping their World Cup dreams alive. 🏆 Coach Ivanković believes that training in Haikou will help him see which players are in top form.
“We’re so happy to be here in Haikou,” he said. “We hope to get great results from this training camp. We have many players, including some awesome young talents! We’ll look at how everyone’s doing and work on improving from our past games.”
