Chinese Sprint Star Su Bingtian to Retire After 2025 National Games

🏃‍♂️ Hey there, sports fans! Have you heard about Su Bingtian? He’s the fastest man in China and holds the Asian record for the men’s 100-meter sprint!

Su Bingtian recently announced that he plans to retire after the 15th National Games in November 2025. These games will be co-hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. At 35 years old, Su wants to finish his amazing career where it all began—in his hometown area known as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Su is feeling great and has already started training again. He hopes to contribute to his hometown and make his final races memorable!

Did you know that at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Su became the first Chinese man to reach the 100-meter final? He set an Asian record by running the race in just 9.83 seconds during the semifinals! That’s super fast! 🚀 In the final, he came sixth, but his achievement inspired many people.

Although he missed the 2024 Paris Olympics due to an injury, Su has more highlights in his career. He helped his team win a bronze medal in the men’s 4×100-meter relay in Tokyo. This was the first time the Chinese team won a medal in an Olympic sprint event! 🥉

Let’s cheer on Su Bingtian as he races towards his grand finale in 2025! 🎉
