Hey snowboard fans! ๐Ÿ‚ Have you heard the exciting news? China’s snowboarding star Cai Xuetong just grabbed the silver medal at the Snowboard Halfpipe World Cup in Colorado! ๐ŸŽ‰

On a chilly Friday in Copper Mountain, the 31-year-old Cai showed off her amazing skills. After her first run, she was in third place with 85.50 points. But she didn’t stop there! In her second run, she upped her score to 88.50 points, climbing up to second place! ๐Ÿš€

The gold medal went to Japan’s super talented 15-year-old Sara Shimizu, who scored 90.50 points. Incredible, right? ๐ŸŒŸ Another Japanese rider, Mitsuki Ono, took home the bronze medal.

Did you know this was the second of five events in this season’s World Cup series? The first one was in Zhangjiakou, China, just two weeks ago!

In the men’s competition, Japan’s snowboarders were on fire! ๐Ÿ”ฅ They swept the podium, with Ayumu Hirano, the 2022 Olympic gold medalist, winning first place with an amazing 97.00 points on his third run! ๐Ÿฅ‡
