Hey swimmers and sports fans! Have you heard the exciting news from the World Swimming Championships in Budapest, Hungary? ๐Ÿ† Noe Ponti from Switzerland just swam faster than anyone ever has in the men’s 50-meter butterfly! ๐Ÿฆ‹

He finished the race in an amazing 21.32 seconds, breaking his own world record set just the day before! โฑ๏ธ Can you imagine swimming that fast? That’s like racing across a 25-meter pool and back in less than half a minute!

In the final race, Noe Ponti was super speedy and beat swimmers from all around the world. Ilya Kharun from Canada won the silver medal, finishing in 21.67 seconds, and Nyls Korstanje from the Netherlands took the bronze with 21.68 seconds. It was a close race! ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿฅ‰

But that’s not all! Other swimmers were breaking records too. Regan Smith from the USA set a new championship record in the women’s 100-meter backstroke, finishing in just 54.55 seconds! Gretchen Walsh, also from the USA, was super fast in the women’s 100-meter freestyle semifinals, beating the championship record with 50.49 seconds! And Tang Qianting from China broke the Asian record in the women’s 100-meter breaststroke, finishing in 1 minute and 2.37 seconds, just 0.01 seconds away from the world record! That’s so close! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Qin Haiyang, also from China, is moving on to the men’s 100-meter breaststroke final after finishing his semifinal in 56.04 seconds. He’s one of the fastest swimmers in the event! Good luck to him in the final! ๐Ÿ‘
