Hey basketball fans! Guess what happened in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league? The Beijing Ducks just won their fifth game in a row! They beat the Guangzhou Loong Lions with a score of 101-82 on Monday. 🎉
At first, Guangzhou was in the lead, ahead by 12 points in the first quarter. But the Beijing Ducks didn’t give up! They played harder and took control after halftime, flying ahead to victory. Now, after 12 games, the Ducks are at the top of the league standings with an awesome record of 11 wins and only 1 loss! 🥇
Two players from the Ducks, Zeng Fanbo and Eugene German, both scored 20 points each! That’s a lot of baskets! 🏀🏀 This Friday, the Ducks are gearing up for an exciting game against their city rivals, the Beikong Royal Fighters. In other games, the Sichuan Blue Whales beat the Guangdong Southern Tigers 104-94. One of the Blue Whales’ players, Edmond Sumner, scored 32 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and made 7 assists! That’s like doing almost everything on the court! 💪 Guangdong’s Xu Jie also scored 32 points.
The Shanxi Loongs won against the Ningbo Rockets with a high score of 140-116. The Liaoning Flying Leopards secured their fourth win in a row by defeating the Shenzhen Leopards 100-93. The Tianjin Pioneers also had a big win over the Jiangsu Dragons with a score of 96-79. 🚀
On Monday, the Xinjiang Flying Tigers continued their winning streak, making it seven games in a row! They beat the Zhejiang Golden Bulls 125-119. The Guangsha Lions defeated the Jilin Northeast Tigers 99-90. Yang Hansen scored 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to help the Qingdao Eagles win against the Fujian Sturgeons 121-114. The Shandong Kylins beat the Shanghai Sharks 115-101. Unfortunately for the Sharks, that’s their sixth loss in a row, and their record is now 1 win and 10 losses. 😮
