On Monday, Ronaldo scored two amazing goals to help his team, Al Nassr from Saudi Arabia, win 3-1 against Al Gharafa of Qatar in the AFC Champions League. This victory brings them super close to the knockout rounds! 🏆
In the first half, Ronaldo had some great chances but just couldn’t find the net. He even had a penalty canceled after the video assistant referee (that’s called VAR) took a second look. But did that stop him? No way!
In the second half, Ronaldo showed why he’s one of the best in the world. 🌍 At 57 minutes, he headed the ball into the goal after a fantastic cross from his teammate Angelo. Just one minute later, Angelo scored another goal, making it 2-0! ⚡️
But Ronaldo wasn’t done yet. Six minutes later, he scored again from inside the penalty area, sealing the victory for Al Nassr! 🎉
Even though Al Gharafa’s striker, Joselu (who used to play for Real Madrid), scored a goal, it wasn’t enough to catch up.
In another exciting match, Ivan Toney scored two goals to help Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia beat the defending champions, Al Ain from the United Arab Emirates, 2-1. Toney came off the bench and scored both goals after awesome assists from Riyad Mahrez! 🤩
With this win, Al Ahli is the first team to secure a spot in the knockout stage with three games left to play. Way to go! 🥳
