Cavaliers beats Hornets 128-114, Mavericks survives Thunder

Unbeaten Cavaliers Beat Hornets; Mavericks Survive Thunder!

Cavaliers Stay Unbeaten with Win Over Hornets! 🏀

The Cleveland Cavaliers are on a roll! They beat the Charlotte Hornets 128-114 on Sunday night, keeping their unbeaten streak alive. Darius Garland scored 25 points, and Ty Jerome tied his career-high with 24 points. Isn’t that amazing?

The Cavs are now one of only four teams in NBA history to start a season 15-0! They join the Golden State Warriors (2016), Houston Rockets (1994), and Washington Capitols (1949). The Warriors hold the record with 24 straight wins to start a season. Could the Cavs beat that record?

Evan Mobley had a great game too, scoring 23 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Jarrett Allen added 21 points and 15 rebounds. The Cavs are looking strong as they get ready to play the defending champions, the Boston Celtics, on Tuesday.

Even though they wanted to keep winning, the Cavs decided to rest their star player, Donovan Mitchell. Coach Kenny Atkinson thought it was more important to keep Mitchell fresh for the long season ahead. Smart move!

On the other side, LaMelo Ball scored 31 points and had 12 assists for the Hornets. Miles Bridges added 19 points. But it wasn’t enough to stop the Cavs.

Mavericks Edge Out Thunder in Close Game! ⚡

The Dallas Mavericks had a tough game against the Oklahoma City Thunder but came out on top with a 121-119 win. And guess what? They did it without their star guard, Luka Doncic!

The Mavs started strong but almost lost the lead in the final moments. P.J. Washington scored 27 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. Kyrie Irving added 23 points and six assists.

But the Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was on fire! He scored a game-high 36 points, including a big shot late in the fourth quarter that had all the Mavs fans on the edge of their seats.

Mavericks coach Jason Kidd didn’t say how long Doncic will be out due to his knee injury. Doncic is a big part of the team, averaging 28.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 7.8 assists this season. Get well soon, Luka!

What a night for basketball fans! Which team are you cheering for?
