France reach UEFA Nations League last eight after 0-0 draw with Israel

France Makes UEFA Nations League Quarterfinals After 0-0 Draw with Israel 🇫🇷⚽️

Hey soccer fans! ⚽️ Guess what? France has reached the quarterfinals of the UEFA Nations League! 🙌 But it wasn’t easy—they played a tough match that ended 0-0 against Israel on Thursday.

The game was held at the famous Stade de France, but something was different. There were only 16,611 fans in the stands, which is a record low! 😮 That’s because there were some security concerns, so fewer people were allowed to attend.

France’s team, known as Les Bleus (which means “The Blues” 🇫🇷💙), were missing some of their star players. Kylian Mbappé wasn’t playing, and Ousmane Dembélé was out with an injury. Without them, France found it hard to score goals.

Randal Kolo Muani tried his best up front, but Israel’s goalkeeper Daniel Peretz made some amazing saves! 🧤 In the 77th minute, it looked like France might score, but Peretz was there to stop Warren Zaire Emery’s shot.

Even though they didn’t win the match, the draw was enough for France to move forward in the tournament. They have 10 points in their group, just behind Italy, who have 13 points after beating Belgium 1-0.

Speaking of Italy 🇮🇹, they had a big win thanks to Sandro Tonali’s early goal! Tonali scored his first goal for Italy, helping them stay on top of Group A2. Italy’s coach, Luciano Spalletti, praised his team: “They fought like lions!” 🦁

France and Italy will face each other this Sunday in Milan. The winner will top the group! Who do you think will win? 🤔

It’s going to be an exciting match, so stay tuned! 📺
